- Tracking lookups: the tracking ID you enter. Tracking pages show shipment status, route and history. They never show sender or recipient names.
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional tracking ID and your message.
- Live chat: your name, email address, optional tracking ID and the messages you and our agents send.
- Shipment records: to provide tracking, we store shipment details such as sender and recipient names, origin, destination, dates and status updates.
- Technical information: like most websites, our server and network providers process your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages, prevent abuse and limit repeated requests.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our live chat stores a small random code in your browser so your conversation stays open when you move between pages. Staff sign-in uses a security cookie that is only set for our team.
How we use your information
- To show shipment tracking information.
- To answer your messages and chats, including replying by email.
- To alert our team about delayed or held shipments.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website, and only as needed:
- Google (Gmail and Google Drive): to send and receive emails and to store encrypted-at-rest backups.
- Cloudflare: to deliver the website securely over the internet.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our customers, our team or others.
How long we keep it
We keep messages, chats and shipment records for as long as needed to provide our service and handle questions, then delete them. Backups are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed staff passwords, limited staff access and rate limits. No website can be completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or passwords through chat or the contact form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing FEDEXIDTRACK@GMAIL.COM. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
